We rescued Moxley from the euthanasia list at a high kill shelter in California. She was there for over a month after her owners dumped her with a severely injured eye. She lasted so long there because she is SO amazing and staff just wanted her to find her forever. We saved her with just days to spare and boy are we happy we did!
Mox has proven herself to be pretty great in a foster home with multiple other dogs but she cannot live with cats. She is great with all people of all sizes. She'd be amazing in a home with older people or a family. She loves everyone.
Moxley is very healthy with no medical concerns at this time.
She is 100% potty trained, crate trained and walks amazing on a leash.
Mox is extremely affectionate, she loves a good head scratch and belly rub. She is not overly needy though, she will go lay on her bed when the love sesh is over.
She does not jump up or have any bad habits while in rescue. She does not love to be confined but she is
I cannot overstate how incredible Moxley is and how amazing she would be in almost any environment. She should not be overlooked because of her looks, breed or because some idiot decided to cut her ears off.
Her adoption fee is $350. She is fully vet checked, microchipped, vaccinated and spayed.
Tank is doing amazing and is ready for his real forever home. 🖤
We pulled Tank from our local shelter where he found himself for the 3rd time in 6 years 😩 and let’s be clear, this could not have been due to behavioral or health things. He is an angel and very healthy! It is very much believed he was dumped and picked up as a stray this last time which breaks our hearts 💔
Tank is potty trained, crate trained and a perfect gentleman. 🖤 Could he be any more handsome?!?!
He is great with people and dogs, really just a little aloof and easy going. He does enjoy attention and seeks it from time to time but he’s really independent.
Tank is about 11 yrs old and weighs 90lbs. He is good on a leash and enjoys a short stroll. His bloodwork was great and he really is healthy. He does have some suspected minor laryngeal collapse which causes him to pant a little more than usual.
Tank isn’t going to live another 10 yrs but he does have some really good time left & deserves it to be spent in a loving home.
Tank's adoption fee is a do
Sweets is a 3 year old black tri English Bulldog. We saved her from the euth list at our local shelter. She came in as a stray and was facing death because of her cherry eyes. ☹
We fixed those eyes right up and now Sweets is looking for her perfect forever. She was used for breeding then discarded when she was no longer useful. Sweets is a great example of why we started this rescue. She deserves
Sweets is dog friendly, unknown with cats, She can be tad shy for the first minute of meeting but she is loving and affectionate and loves all people but kids are her favorite! She walks well on a leash, she is potty trained with a dog door and crate trained.
She loves to play but is also a super snuggler. Her foster says she is an amazing family dog.
Sweets is a very healthy girl with only regular bulldog maintenance needed, face wrinkles, nose rope, ears and tail.
Her adoption fee is $500. She is fully vet checked, spayed, microchipped and vaccinated. If you are interested in adopting Sweets please fill out an adoption application www.retiredtorescue.org
Chance’s story is a sad one but unfortunately not very uncommon nowadays. 😭Bulldogs are being dumped every single day once they are no longer needed for breeding or get too expensive to care for.
In October a long haul trucker went in to get a bite to eat. He got back in his truck and was ready to drive away when he realized (thank goodness) a dog tied to the passenger side! If he hadn’t have n
Chance is about 4 years old, 55 lbs, very sweet, athletic and goofy. He is dog door trained, good with kids and desperately looking for a good that perfect home who will never dump him again!
Chance needs to be the only pet in the home, he prefers his family all to himself.
Jean Grey is one of the 16 frenchies recently surrendered to us by a large scale breeder. We are so grateful to have them and honored to be finding their forever homes.
We are particularly fond of Jean Grey, I mean... look at that face. You may think she is part bat but she is a pure bred little chocolate frenchie girl. She is only 23 lbs. and about 1.5 - 2 years
Jean Grey is great with other dogs but she is big energy so she will be a better match for a care free playful dog. She loves people and is always curious and checking out what is going on in the house.
Jean should not go into a home with cats, although she is not aggressive she is overly interested and cats do not seem to appreciate her energy. If you have a pool it must be gated.
Jean Grey is crate and leash trained and is working on potty training. She has lived in a crate her whole life so will need continued patience, guidance and training.
Her adoption fee is $500. She is spayed, vet checked, microchipped and vaccinated.
If you are interested in adopting Jean Grey please fill out an adoption application.
